About Southeast Veterinary Cardiology

  • Every echocardiogram is performed by a board-certified cardiologist who will directly examine your patient and provide a real-time answer to your cardiology-related concerns - no more waiting for days with telemedicine.

  • Echocardiograms are performed using a GE Vivid iq - the newest generation of portable cardiac-specific ultrasound available for both humans and animals.

  • At the time of the consultation, we will discuss the results/interpretation in-person with the primary care veterinarian (if present) and help directly guide care at the time of consultation and with future questions.

  • A full written report (with diagnosis, detailed disease information/client education, treatment, and follow-up information) is typically emailed prior to SEVC leaving the clinic - helping you most easily relay the results to your clients/pet as soon as possible

  • Please see the Consultation Information/FAQ page for more information as well.

**Please note, SEVC only performs echocardiograms (no abdominal or non-cardiac thoracic ultrasounds) and our practice is limited to solely to cardiology care.**
